How a session works

    Book the hours on WhatsApp

    Send the date, how many hours you need and what you are shooting: portraits, products, content or video. If you would like hair and make-up, mention it at least 3 days before the shoot.

    Choose the look

    Pick the grey curtain, the colour of the RGB backlight, the plants and the shelves with props, in any combination. The backlight colour can be switched between looks. Change in the vestibule.

    Shoot

    The light is continuous, with no flash, so the same set works for photos and for video.

How do I book a session?

Message us on WhatsApp, call +371 2644 2472 or email hello@balticpodcaststudio.com. Tell us the date, the format and how many people will be on the mic, and we confirm the slot and the price. On WhatsApp we reply within a few hours.

Where is the studio, and how do I get in?

At Akadēmijas laukums 1, Rīga, LV-1050, in the building of the Latvian Academy of Sciences. The studio is on the 5th floor: there is a lift, and the building is step-free inside. It is open by appointment: we agree the time of your session when you book.

Do you take a deposit, and do you issue invoices?

We take no deposit to hold a booking. We do issue invoices, so you can pay by invoice.

Can I cancel or move my booking?

Yes, free of charge. The one exception is a large planned order paid in advance that books other people's time: you can move its date once for free, and if you move it again, the prepayment is forfeited.

What is the minimum booking, and how is time billed?

The minimum booking is 1 hour; after that, time is billed in 30-minute steps. Setting up is part of your booked time. After 15 minutes of overtime, the next 30 minutes are billed.

Can I book hair and make-up?

Yes. Before a recording or a photoshoot, a partner stylist does your hair and make-up in the studio's preparation and make-up zone. Book it at least 3 days before the shoot.
